Use of protective cover

The protective cover can prevent dust, chips and hard sand particles from entering the track, reduce the damage of hard granular foreign matter to the sliding rail surface, reduce the influence of the guide rail on the machining accuracy due to operation deformation, and maintain the machining accuracy of the machine tool. The surface of the protective cover should be smooth and free of burrs and sharp edges and corners, and should not become a new source of danger; and the protective cover should not affect the line of sight and normal operation, and should be convenient for equipment inspection and maintenance.

Selection method

The protective cover is used to protect the camera and lens, and is divided into indoor type and outdoor type. When selecting the protective cover, pay attention:

1) According to the installation location, the correct selection of indoor or outdoor protective cover. The main function of the indoor protective cover is dustproof, and the outdoor protective cover is not only dustproof, but also the main function is to protect the camera from various harsh natural environments (such as rain, snow, low temperature, high temperature, etc.). Therefore, the outdoor all-weather protective cover not only has a more stringent sealing structure, but also has a variety of functions such as wipers, sprinklers, heating and cooling. This determines the price of the outdoor protective cover is much higher than the indoor protective cover. It should be noted that because the temperature in some areas does not change much in the four seasons, they are all within the working temperature of the camera, so an ordinary outdoor protective cover without a constant temperature function can be used to reduce costs.

2) Select the protective cover of corresponding size. The size of the protective cover should be greater than the sum of the size of the camera and lens, otherwise, the camera and lens cannot be installed.

3) If the protective cover with constant temperature function is selected, the power supply problem for the protective cover should be considered. The protective cover with wiper function is selected. If there is a decoder, it can be controlled by the decoder. If there is no decoder, it should be considered to add a relay to control.
